3E Accounting Singapore Have Adopted All the Eight Tripartite Standards
3E Accounting Singapore is proud to announce that we have adopted all the eight Tripartite Standards on Mar 2019. As one of the employers that support Fair Employment Practices and Work-Life Balance in Singapore, 3E Accounting has also been recognised as one of the Early Adopters of Tripartite Standards in October 2017.
The Tripartite Standards is a new initiative that was jointly developed by the Ministry of Manpower, National Trades Union Congress and the Singapore National Employers Federation to increase the adoption of fair and progressive workplace practices. As the name suggests, the Tripartite Standards is a set of achievable employment standards that complement laws, Tripartite Guidelines and Advisories. It bridges the gap between employment laws and Tripartite Guidelines (note: Tripartite Guidelines is the Guidelines which all employers are required or expected to comply with) and Tripartite Advisories (which encourage employers to adopt the more progressive workplace practices).
Enhancing Company Ability and Potential to Pool and Retain Talent
Though the adoption of the Tripartite Standards is not a mandatory requirement for employers, the adoption of Tripartite Standards will enable those qualified employers to stand out from their counterparts as the employers of choice, enhancing their ability and potential to pool and retain talent. The adoption of Tripartite Standards will bring the public recognition on the website of the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (“TAFEP”) while allowing employers to use the Tripartite Standards logomarks in job advertisements and marketing collaterals. On top of that, partner organisations will also recognise the employer as an organisation with good standing in their HR practices and management. The public can check the list on TAFEP’s website to know which employer has adopted the Tripartite Standards and for which functional area.
The Tripartite Standards initiative has reshaped the employment landscape in Singapore where it constitutes a positive step forward to develop a holistic framework for employment practices in Singapore. 3E Accounting’s achievement in the adoption of all Tripartite Standards benchmarked our strong commitment to Fair employment in Singapore as we always use the best standard as suggest by TAFEP.
