3E Accounting Recognised at President’s Challenge 2020 Appreciation Event
3E Accounting was among 64 firms honoured for significant contributions to the President’s Challenge 2020 to empower vulnerable groups within the community through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employability. The President’s Challenge is an important national movement that helps rally Singaporeans to come together and build a more caring and inclusive society, made even more important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
President’s Challenge Appreciation Event
3E Accounting Founder Lawrence Chai was among the distinguished guests at this year’s President’s Challenge 2020 Virtual Appreciation Event on 20 November 2020, and an appreciation plaque for 3E Accounting was gifted to Lawrence.
The event comprises an appreciation showreel on Facebook, guest performances by beneficiaries and a LIVE Chat segment with Madam President Halimah Yacob. The Facebook Live session featured the different President’s Challenge initiatives including the launch of the Enabling Employment Pledge, followed by the closed-door virtual event that showcased brilliant performances by the Down Syndrome Association and Mr. Mohammad Salleh, and the LIVE Chat segment while having afternoon tea with Madam President Halimah.
All guests enjoyed a Virtual Tea Session with Madam President, each receiving the President’s Challenge Afternoon Tea Set consisting of freshly-baked eggless goodies by youths from the Metta Café.
3E Accounting’s Plans to Contribute to President’s Challenge 2021
3E Accounting will continue to support by contributing to the President’s Challenge and Community Chest in areas of skills training for social enterprises. As a digital accounting firm, we will use our expertise in digitalization and technology to help charities and beneficiaries in these fields.
