National Service Advocate Award Presented to 3E Accounting at Total Defence Awards Ceremony 2020
3E Accounting is proud to receive the National Service (NS) Advocate Award from the Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen at the Total Defence Ceremony 2020, organised by MINDEF and the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD).
The Total Defence Awards (TDA) 2020 recognises 148 exemplary employers and Civil Resource Owners who have demonstrated commendable support and advocacy for National Service and Total Defence. As a Singaporean SME, 3E Accounting benefits from Singapore’s peace and prosperity, and we accept that NS is a shared responsibility of the firm and its NSmen.
3E Accounting Founder Lawrence Chai has always been a strong advocate and supporter of National Service in Singapore. Pro-National Service (NS) policies and human resources practices are put into place so that NSmen are motivated and encouraged to fulfil their responsibilities without deferment so as to provide a safe and secure environment for Singapore and Singaporeans.
3E Accounting supports Work-Life-NS Balance
3E Accounting supports Work-Life-NS balance, whereby NSmen are given the utmost support in balancing their family, work, and NS commitments. Besides reimbursement to employees for fitness memberships or health screenings to encourage NSmen to adopt a healthy lifestyle, NSmen in 3E Accounting are given incentives to keep fit and exercise regularly. NSmen who perform well are given cash incentives from the company that matches the incentive given by the Singapore Government for the various IPPT award types.
The Pro-NS employee policies for NSmen in 3E Accounting acknowledges their sacrifice, dedication and contribution to the nation. Receiving the NS Advocate Award is an honour for 3E Accounting as it affirms and recognises our firm commitment to Total Defence.
