A Safe Environment Begins With A Clean Natural Surroundings
The world we live in is our responsibility. This has been drummed throughout generations, yet many more have yet to understand how it affects us, literally. As much as we can, we harness and exploit the riches of the earth to our pleasures. Adversely, it affects us in return with terrible situations. It usually begins with a small harmless piece of trash, thrown somewhere in nature. The first person would think someone else will clean it up. Soon, everyone will start to have the same thought; thus, messing up the environment. People take nature for granted. Beaches are commonly affected with leftover and ocean trash. Hence, a beach clean-up activity was initiated to instil responsibility in caring for the beach environment.
For the layman, a beach is made of a strip of a sandy surface where it meets the sea. Sometimes beaches also have rocks lining up the coastlines or trees that thrive in sandy soils. They take that nature has always managed to care for itself without much help from people. That is true if nature is left untouched. But with every beautiful scenery, people will eventually exploit it in the name of sharing that beauty with other people. Each component of a beach serves an essential role in the natural ecosystem. A beach ecosystem is made up of millions of organisms. Beaches are fragile environments that require protection from human pollution and damage.
Accounting For The Beach
3E Accounting is known to be an expert in their business and affiliated business. But they are also taking accountability for conserving nature. Hence, on 12 November 2016, the employees of 3E Accounting took charge of cleaning a part of this nation. As part of their corporate social responsibility, the staffs of 3E Accounting volunteered in a beach clean-up activity at East Coast Park. They geared up and turned up early at the beach to start picking up litters all over the park. Beaches are public places where everyone gets to enjoy the soft sea breeze, gentle waves and light sandy surfaces. Every now and then, the beach is littered with trash. These could be left behind by beachgoers or debris washed up from the sea.
This may be the first litter picking activity from 3E Accounting, but they are continuously learning how to create environmental awareness within the company. Through a beach clean-up activity, they are learning the importance of beach conservation. Not only they are lending a helping hand to nature, but they are also keeping the nation clean, ensuring everyone gets to enjoy a cleaner and safer environment. Being close to life creates a sense of responsibility in all of us. We see that we could protect the situation so that every single living thing could benefit from it. The more sustainable an ecosystem is, the longer we can enjoy it. This is the aim of 3E Accounting employees when they begin their journey to create environmental awareness among themselves.
