Welcome to our E-Newsletter January 2018
As we close off 2017, it is good for us to look ahead and think about what this year may bring us. While there may be further challenges ahead (and there is much work to do), we end 2017 stronger and better able to serve our clients and partners. We continued throughout the year to weather through the uncertainties and challenges and became a stronger, more established company better organized to serve our clients. There is plentiful of evidence that we are moving forward on the course we set years ago, some of which is highlighted in this message.
A Year of Victories and Accomplishments
The year 2017 has been a tremendous year with victories and accomplishments. 3E Accounting Pte. Ltd. has been awarded the Best Company Registration Specialist of the Year in Singapore 2017/2018 – an achievement that recognises 3E Accounting Pte. Ltd. as the cream of company registration specialist. This year we have also made a fair amount of media presence. From the media coverage by ACCA to Singapore Business Review, the legitimate press coverage has given us far more credibility than direct mails, giveaways, or other marketing ploys.
Global Footprints that Spans Over Six Continents
Our direction is clear and we know what we must do: providing our clients with the best service and most comprehensive solutions in the market, building our brand, and doing our part to keep the economy moving forward. Another worth celebrating is our 3E Accounting International Network has grown to 54 countries, 86 offices in year 2017. The achievement has further proven that we strive to amplify our existing strengths and continue to uphold the importance of sustainability in our footprints around the world.
We Care about the Society
3E Accounting Pte. Ltd. is committed to sustainable development of local communities in the country. We have taken up several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to demonstrate the act of compassion towards the well-being of the local community. Among many others, 3E Accounting Pte. Ltd. has supported My Family Weekend by initiating ‘Bring your Family to work Day’ to promote work-life balance. Our initiative has gained the media attention, i.e. we were featured in Lian He Zao Bao and radio interviews on 95.8FM and 938LIVE.
Year-end Reminders
a) Wage Credit Scheme Payouts for 2018
Employers are reminded to make CPF contributions for employees by 15 Jan 2018 to receive the fifth tranche of Wage Credit Scheme (WCS) payouts in March 2018.
b) Personal Income Tax Filing Season
We would like to remind you that tax season is coming (annual personal tax returns for Year 2017 must be filed with IRAS by 15 April 2018. For employer, please keep in mind that you need to prepare Form IR8A and Appendix 8A, Appendix 8B or Form IR8S (where applicable) for all your employees including directors (who are employed in Singapore) by 1st Mar each year. Finally yet importantly, please do not forget to do stock take before Dec 31.
Our focus and strategy are clear: efficiency, effectiveness, and economy. We can do more for people, companies, and investors than any other company can. I appreciate all of your great work and support this year; it is because of you, and because we know, we can do so much more for clients than anyone else, that I have such great confidence in our future.
