3E Accounting Advocates for Local Hiring
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, remote work has become the norm and one of the most significant risks to the local employment is cheap-sourcing from global markets. As cheap-sourcing may negatively impact the quality of companies’ products and services, firms should do well to recognize the quality of Singapore’s workforce and protect the Singapore brand.
3E Accounting has focused on building a strong Singaporean Core in our workforce because we believe this is the only sustainable practice in the long term. We invest heavily in our local graduates and participated as a host organization under the SGUnited Traineeship programme to train them to remotely support both our local and international clients.
Additionally, the adoption of technology has enabled 3E Accounting to remain highly competitive as a digitalized accounting firm, which helped to attract and retain local talents. This has gifted the home-grown SME a uniquely Singaporean Core with more than 90% Singaporean and Singaporean Permanent Residents (PR) employees.
