Channel 8: Singaporeans Brace for Total Work From Home & HBL to Stop Community Spread of COVID-19

To enable all 100% of employees to Work From Home, 3E Accounting Founder Lawrence Chai delivered and personally installed printer/scanners in the homes of employees ahead of the month-long Suspension of Activities at Workplace Premises for non-essential services that took effect on 7 April 2020.

 

3E Business Continuity Policy (BCP) Workgroup Support

Lawrence was supported by 3E Business Continuity Policy (BCP) Workgroup which he headed, and consist also of the General Manager, Strategic Comms Director, Business Continuity Manager and Union Branch Committee. The team worked tirelessly over the weekend to urgently re-engineer business processes and deploy IP telephony smart tech so colleagues at home are able to make and receive both local and international calls from office laptops without incurring high international call charges.

As schools introduce full Home-Based Learning (HBL), 3E Accounting set aside spare office laptops for children of employees who need it for HBL. Lawrence shared our story with Channel 8 in the hope that more business owners will adopt similar good practices, put Employees First, protect jobs, livelihoods and stop community spread of COVID-19.
