Precautions To Take For COVID-19
The Government has announced that Singaporeans, permanent residents and long-term-pass holders, as well as work pass holders who are returning from China will be placed on a leave of absence of 14 days. During the 14-day monitoring period, employers are encouraged to adopt flexible work arrangements, such as telecommuting and teleconferencing to allow the employees to work from home.
Health and Travel Declaration
In support of nationwide preparedness efforts to contain the developing COVID-19 situation in Singapore, 3E Accounting has put in place a system to obtain a health and travel declaration from clients and employees, on whether they had travelled to mainland China recently.
All employees who have been to China will telecommute for a 14-day monitoring period from the day of their return to Singapore. This is made possible because of 3E Accounting’s flexible work arrangement policy that allows our employees to work from anywhere, allowing business operations continue to run smoothly. The flexi-work culture has the additional advantage of building business resilience.
Our investment in technology means we offer our clients additional options to “Do it Digitally!” During this period, we can assist our clients with e-appointments through telephone calls, video calls and emails as alternative communication platforms.
To protect our workplace, 3E Accounting has prepared sufficient face masks, to be worn if the employee is feeling unwell, sick with a cough or sneezing. As part of our Pro Family initiative, we prepared child masks for the children of employees in view of the recent retail shortage.
Together with observing and the practice of good personal hygiene, we can keep the workplace safe for everyone.
