3E Accounting’s Founder Lawrence Chai Appointed As Assessor
3E Accounting’s Lawrence Chai has been appointed as Assessor under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020.
The appointment by the Minister for Law is to resolve disputes arising from the application of the Act. Upon receiving an Application for an Assessor’s Determination, the Assessor will determine whether the case is covered under the Act and to grant relief that is just and equitable in the circumstances. This is by conducting a hearing and making a Determination. There is no appeal against an Assessor’s determination and it will be binding on all parties to the Application.
