3E Accounting Adopts SGSecure@Workplaces Programme
SGSecure@Workplaces aims to strengthen the vigilance and resilience of workplaces to withstand terror attacks. 3E Accounting has adopted the SGSecure@Workplaces programme as part of our operational priorities to ensure our workforce remains united, our business remains resilient, and we return to normalcy as soon as possible after a terror incident.
Terrorism has evolved and grown in complexity, both in form and substance over the years. Underlying factors of geopolitical realignments, emerging technologies and demographic shifts have made this risk a very real and pressing one. The national movement, SGSecure was launched by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong with the aim to raise public preparedness in the event of a terrorist attack. In his words, “SGSecure gives everybody a role protecting ourselves, our families, and our country. We will teach you the skills that you need to do so.”
3E Accounting Supports National Initiative
3E Accounting is committed to supporting this national initiative, with the proper management of safety and security risks, developing a sound business continuity plan and maintaining a well-protected IT system. In the days ahead, we will incorporate the 3 core components of SGSecure into our operational policies; prepare the workforce, protect the workplace, partner the community.
At 3E Accounting, our SGSecure representatives are entrusted with sharing educational information with colleagues during peacetime, and providing tips on protective measures against terror threats. In times of crisis, they will be the points of contact to spread information and facilitate a united response.
With SGSecure@Workplaces, our employees will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to prevent and deal with crises. Our risk management plans and mitigation measures will enable quick recovery and minimise potential losses, and our community network will strengthen vigilance and boost our collective ability to respond effectively and swiftly.
