Introduces Technology Track for Management Trainee Programme
To gear up for the Future Economy, 3E Accounting is the first Small and Medium-sized Accounting Practice (SMP) to introduce a new Technology Track for its Management Trainee Programme.
The new developmental pathway is based on the insight of Founder and Director Lawrence Chai that the Future Accountant has to be a multi-disciplinary business expert, who is familiar with a full suite of professional services from HR, business valuation, IT, digital, business analytics to risk assessment, in order to be able to provide 3600 business consultancy to the client in the Future Economy. To be future ready, IT technology competency is a must, not just finance knowledge.
Management Trainee Programme (Technology)
3E Accounting’s Management Trainee Programme (Technology) is developed with the recognition that these competencies will propel the future of accountancy. Hence, the firm seeks to identify accountancy professionals who are keen to learn about digital and IT technology, and is working on Digital R&D with research institutes like the Accounting Technology & Innovation Centre (AccTech Centre), a resource centre that facilitates collaboration and catalyses technology and business innovations in the accounting sector. The AccTech Centre is a joint initiative between the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) to help SMPs to innovate business processes, business models, service delivery, and services. AccTech Centre supports the Accountancy Industry Digital Plan as a sectoral enabler for the Professional Services Industry Transformation Map (ITM).
